Mass of Christian Burial for Maria Rosales Ibarra, 72, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Raymundo Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Haven Cemetery.
Maria was born December 24, 1945 in Peñitas del Oriente, Valparaìso, Zacatecas, Mexico, and was welcomed home by our Heavenly Father Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Maria married the love of her life, Fidel Ibarra Barrios on December 31, 1976. She retired from Pilgrim’s Pride to fulfill her days with her loved ones by her side. Maria was passionately devoted to her Savior and her beautiful garden.
Survivors include her husband, Fidel Ibarra Barrios; daughters, Susana Romero and husband Richard, Maria Juarez and husband Guadalupe, Zenaida Arredondo and husband Alex, Lucia Ibarra, and Leticia Ferman; sons, Gerard Ibarra and wife Cecilia, Richard Ibarra and wife Denise, and Tony Ibarra; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant child; a granddaughter; and brother.
Pallbearers will be Tony Ibarra, Richard Ibarra, Ricardo Rosales, Amado Rosales, Alejandro Arredondo, Jr., and Christopher James Ferman.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.
