Margarette Nelson Wade

Funeral services for Margarette Nelson Wade, 85, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Livingston and Pastor Jerry Browning officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.

Mrs. Wade was born October 18, 1933 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Ruby (Terry) and Earl William Nelson, and died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Wade had resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a home health provider for many years. She was a member of Keltys First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Debra Harris of Houston, Linda and Billy McGuire of Hudson; daughter-in-law, Donna Harris of Silsbee; stepchildren and spouses, Paul and Mary Wade of Doucette, Sharon Odom of Woodville, Linda and Donald Hickman of Cleveland; grandchildren and spouses, Wendie and Brad Swift, Jeremie and Jessica Harris, Josh Harris, Jason and Amber Harris, Ashley and Clint Halliburton, Heather McGuire, Hunter and Monica McGuire; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Howell of Lufkin, Nell and Jim Travis of San Antonio; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dee Nelson of Lufkin; special niece and spouse, Sandra and Eldon Fuller of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cecil Wade; son, Robert Harris; great-granddaughter, Haley Jennusa; brothers, Gene Nelson, James Nelson and Allen Nelson; and sister, Earline Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Jeremie Harris, Josh Harris, Jason Harris, Hunter McGuire, Levi Fuller, and Eldon Fuller.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
