Graveside services for Marcia L. Swank, 88, of Cibolo, formerly of Huntington, will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jonesville Cemetery with Brother Danny Cryer officiating.

Marcia L. Swank was born July 6, 1930 in the Ora Community of Angelina County, Texas to the late Laura Mae (Porter) and Horace Youngblood, and died Monday, April 15, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Swank resided in Huntington all her life until six years ago when she moved to Cibolo. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and quilt. Mrs. Swank was a member of Oak Flat Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Travis Teboe of Cibolo; grandchildren, Tyler E. Youngblood of Lubbock and James Chester and wife Catherine of San Antonio; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Chester of San Antonio; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.D. “Don” Swank; daughter, Jude Swank; sisters, Glenwith Smith and Gloria Moore; and brother, Burl Youngblood.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington.
