Lynn Warner Childress

Funeral services for Lynn Warner Childress, 65, of Pollok will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Nacogdoches with Pastor Tim Brewer and Jimmy Childress officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

Mrs. Childress was born October 8, 1953 in Lufkin, Texas to Ima Jean (Kennedy) and Jack Warner, Sr., and died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Childress resided in Angelina County most of her life. She retired from Huntington ISD where she was the High School Secretary. Mrs. Childress was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Childress of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Amber Childress of Pollok; grandchildren, Westin Childress and Haylie Childress, both of Pollok; mother, Jean Warner of Pollok; brother and sister-in-law, Neal and Toni Warner of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Randy Brewer of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sheila and Greg Stoddard of Huntington; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dale and Denise Childress of Huntington; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Warner, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Clay Palmer, John Childerss, Cliff Boulware, Ronnie Johnston, Billy Cornelius, and Marty Murphy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dyer Howard and John Paul White.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
