Visitation for Lynn D. “Bugzy” Chandler, 71, of Groveton will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Chandler was born March 15, 1947 in Livingston, Texas to Dolly (Jones) and R.D. Chandler, and went to be with our Lord Friday, June 8, 2018 in a facility in Groveton.
Mr. Chandler was currently living in Woodlake and was a carpenter by trade. He loved his family and his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid coon hunter and was a member of Polk County Coon Hunter’s Association.
Survivors include his daughters, Jeitonna Harris and fiance’ Mark Molandes of Lufkin and Debra Chandler of Woodlake; son, Keith Chandler and Carolyn Ruterman of Woodlake; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Gage of Livingston, Marilyn Goodson and husband Ronny, Laconia “Connie” Bacon and husband Dennis; and Margaret Pate, all of Corrigan; brothers, Thomas Blalock and wife Pat of Arlington and Stephen Blalock of Corrigan; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Lewis Blalock, Sr.; wife, Loretta Maye Chandler; sisters, Vena Blalock, Betty Jumonville, and Frankie Sambrano; brother, Lewis Blalock, Jr.; and his coon dog, Pistol Pete.
