Lynda Darlene Giles

Funeral services for Lynda Darlene (Moore) Giles, 54, of Apple Springs, will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pat Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Bennett Cemetery.

Mrs. Giles was born January 21, 1964 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of the late Maurine (Yarbrough) and Kermit Moore. She died Friday, September 28, 2018 at her residence in Apple Springs.

Mrs. Giles was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with family. Mrs. Giles was a member of Union Road Church of Christ and loved going to church.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Giles of Apple Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Johnathon McGuire of Diboll, Kelly Selby and Keith Ketchum of Madisonville; three grandchildren, Clayton McGuire, Lily McGuire, and Caroline Ketchum; brothers, Leon Moore, Joseph Moore, both of Lufkin, and Bobby Moore of Hudson; sisters, Reta Moore of Corrigan, Debbie Putnam and husband Frankie of Hudson, and Betty Franks of Diboll; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Giles was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Gill and Shirley Moore; and brother, Jerry Moore.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Scott Moore, Chris Franks, Jerrod Duke, Will Goins, and Matthew Goins. Honorary pallbearer is Clayton McGuire.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
