Graveside services for Luther Lee Barrow, 73, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. in the Friendship Cemetery in Roganville, Texas with Pastor Justin Bullard and Tiffany Barrow officiating.

Luther was born February 24, 1952 in Jasper, Texas to the late Alma Arbell (Burnett) and the James Clayton “Charlie” Barrow, and died Friday, December 12, 2025 in a local nursing home.

Luther was a Pipe Fitter and a member of Local Union 211 most of his life. Luther received the Holy Ghost at First United Pentecostal Church in Orange, Texas under the ministry of Pastor W.E. Gamblin. He then was introduced to a wonderful family, Titus and Ruth McKee and their children, Titus, Jr. and wife Gail, Niles and wife Mary, and Deborah and husband Herbert Sizemore, who were all originally from the Bridge City, Texas area. Luther married Nona Kay Bridges on March 15, 1974 and was married for 49 years. After they married, they attended Bridge City United Pentecostal Church under Pastor Johnny W. Harrell for about 28 years. They were the first couple Pastor Harrell married.

Survivors include his son, James Clois Barrow of Lufkin who took very good care of him; daughter, Tiffany Kay Barrow of Lufkin who was a lot like him in so many ways; brother, Willie Earl Barrow and wife Donna May Barrow of Newton; sisters, Glenda Joyce Dubose of Vidor, Alice Fay Neal and husband Roy Neal of Newton, Jo Ruth Barrow and husband Waylon of Buna, Erma Dell Poole and husband Ronnie of Starks, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Debbie Barrow of Newton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Barrow; brother-in-law, Billy Dubose; paternal grandparents, Lazarus L. and Ethel Barrow; maternal grandparents, Herbert and Lenor Burnett; parents-in-law, James Clois and Ruby Mildred Bridges; sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Suttle and husband Grady Earl Suttle, Patricia Ann Floydd and husband Carl Lynn Floydd, and Mary Clois Lobb and husband Richard Lobb.

Pallbearers will be Roy Slaughter, Rowdy Slaughter, Bric Barrow, Kris Kelly, Landon Kelly, Jimmy Neel, and Willie Jackson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Carroway Funeral Home.
