Graveside services for Luela Faye (Merrell) Denman, 83, of Huntington will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Tom Havard Cemetery with Reverend Bill Massey officiating.
Mrs. Denman was born January 7, 1935 in Ashdown, Arkansas to the late Gertrude Mae (Hamilton) Olds and Jim Abshire Merrell, and died Thursday, March 29, 2018 in a local hospital.
A loving wife and mother, Faye was employed most of her life in the grocery business. She was known for her love of flowers and her gift for growing them.
Survivors include her three children, Joseph and wife Diana, Debrah and husband Bobby Widner, and Terry and wife Carrie; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Linwood K. Denman; brothers, Johnny Gardner and James Merrell; and sister, Walsie Mae Merrell.
