Graveside services for Lucile Heath Lawrence, 92, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Glendale Cemetery with Reverend Mark Newton officiating.
Mrs. Lawrence was born January 18, 1926 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Katie F. (Fausett) and Moses Henry Heath, and died Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Lufkin.
Mrs. Lawrence had resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a homemaker, talented musician and mother of two who enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a long time (1946) member of First Baptist Church of Lufkin.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Hutto and husband James of Lufkin; son, Douglas Lawrence, Jr. of Lufkin; grandchildren, Brian McKinney and wife Mellissa of Whitehouse, Gwen Milligan and husband David, Becky Lawrence, and Matthew Lawrence, all of Lufkin; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas W. Lawrence, Sr.; brothers, Ernest, Harold, Hollis, Curtis, Travis, and Odis “Buddy” Heath; and sisters, Gladis Marie Heath and Pauline Parish.
Pallbearers will be Brian McKinney, David Milligan, Chace Milligan, Glen Heath, Garrett McKinney, Justin McKinney, and David Murphy.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the service at the funeral home.
