Funeral services for William Loyd Cook, 87, of Lufkin will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darryl Bennett and Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park under the auspices of the Lufkin Masonic Lodge #669 A.F. & A.M.
Mr. Cook was born September 7, 1930 in Woden, Texas to the late Ruth Oleta (Smithheart) and Henry B. Cook, and died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Cook had resided in Lufkin all of his life. He founded Cook Tire & Service in 1982, which he owned and operated until his retirement. He was a 32

Degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Lufkin Masonic Lodge #669 A.F. & A.M. He was a member and past President of the Lufkin Kiwanis Club and also a member of First Baptist Church Lufkin.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Dillon and husband Mike of Houston; sons, David Cook and wife Becky, Mark Cook and wife Jeannie, and Kevin Cook and wife Stephanie, all of Lufkin; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda McDougal and husband Jim of Lufkin and Janice Wheeler and husband Carl of Deer Park; brother, Hubert Cook and wife Dorothy of Wimberly; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Nelda Cook; daughter, Deborah Ann Roper; and grandson, Zac Cook.
Pallbearers will be David Cook, Jr., Blake Cook, Will Cook, Hunter Cook, Hudson Cook, Michael Dillon, Justin Knighton, and Aidan Henson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
