Loretta Lenderman

Funeral services for Loretta Lenderman, 89, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roy Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Ivie Cemetery in Kennard.

Mrs. Lenderman was born October 5, 1934 in Crockett, Texas to the late Vera (Gentry) and Lee Emory Alderman, and died Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in a local facility.

Loretta retired from Walmart after 22 years of service. She attended Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Alton Lenderman, Jr. and wife Lory, Jimmy Lenderman and wife Sherrie; grandchildren, Channa Miller, Emmitt Miller, Trey Lenderman, Brian Crager, Jonathan Crager, Elijah Lenderman; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Alton Lenderman, Sr.; sisters, Oda Alderman, Murle Allen; and brother, Donald Alderman.

Pallbearers will be Trey Lenderman, Elijah Lenderman, Brian Crager, Jonathan Crager, Christian Womack, and Emmitt Miller.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon prior to the service.
