Loreane Byrum of Huntington was called to her heavenly home Monday, June 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Born on August 2, 1945, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be remembered for her quiet strength, unwavering love for her family, and generous heart.
She is survived by her sons and their spouses, John T. Gerami and wife Michelle, and Kenny Gerami and wife Jessica; granddaughters, Morgan Gerami, Geraldine Giannotti, Abbigail Gerami, and Journey Gerami; grandsons, Cody Gerami, Tommy Gerami, Benjamin Gerami, and Caden Willis; great-grandson, Atticus Gerami Giannotti; sisters, Mary Cogswell and Diana Heitmann; niece, Michelle Novosad; and numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Loreane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Harrison Byrum; her parents, Ruby Mae (Melton) and William Heitmann, Sr.; and her brothers, William Heitmann, Jr. and Billy Heitmann.
She had a special place in her heart for her beloved fur babies, Teddy and Liberty, whose companionship brought her great joy and comfort.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Lala Hill Baptist Church in Huntington, Texas, immediately followed by the service. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Garden in Cleveland, Texas.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
