Visitation for Lonia Faulk Tucker, 89, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tucker was born November 8, 1927 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Tassie Bell (Davis) and Rev. Jefferson Marion Faulk, and died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her residence. She had resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a brick mason. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing the violin. Mrs. Tucker was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy (Wells) Williams and husband Buster and Linda (Henry) Workman and husband Dennis, all of Lufkin; stepsons, Richard Tucker and Steve Tucker, both of Lufkin; grandchildren, Russell Tucker, Jason Tucker, Ronnie Tucker, Earl Buster Williams II, Robert Andrews, Charles Andrews, Lori (Harrelson) Ward, Barbie (Harrelson) McCullough, and Ricky Harrelson, all of Lufkin; numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jessie Bell Johnson and Mary (Faulk) Tucker, both of Lufkin; brother, Albert Lee Faulk and wife Tracy of Bowie; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nelda Ellen Tucker; sisters, Ruby Willis and Inez Groze; and brothers, Briston Faulk, Jefferson Faulk, Jr., Carroll Faulk, Curtis Faulk, and Andrew Faulk.
