Funeral services for Linda Patricia Vineyard, 76, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Richard Owen officiating. Interment will follow in the Shofner Cemetery.

Mrs. Vineyard was born May 8, 1944 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Melisa F. (Brock) and Benjamin A. “Ben” Naron, and died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Vineyard resided in Angelina County most of her life. She was a waitress at various restaurants for 30 years and assisted her husband with his construction company for 25 years. After retirements she was a homemaker who was all about “family”. She was artistic and enjoyed making jewelry and oil painting. Mrs. Vineyard was a member of Solid Rock Family Church.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Jerry Vineyard of Huntington; children and spouses, Ronnie and Monica Lambert of Huntington, Tammy and Lyle Schwartz, Becky Lambert, all of Lufkin, Benji and Lavonda Lambert of Huntington, Jay and Glenda Vineyard, Melenda and Bobby Cole, all of Lufkin, Bonnie and Mark Shows of Houston, Amanda and Richard Farley, Millie and Ray Coleman, Fred and Kimberly Vineyard, and Ima and Chad Adams, all of Huntington; daughter-in-law, Debbie Vineyard of Lufkin; numerous grandchildren including, Wade Lambert, Weston Lambert, Kovey Montes, Kase Montes, Cody Schwartz, and Casie Coleman; numerous great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Carol and Nancy Naron of Pollok; sisters and brothers-in-law, Melba and Byford Renfro of Lufkin and Beverly and Lonnie Ashlock of Bonham; brother-in-law, Lee Cain of Natchez, Mississippi; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Vineyard; and sisters, Vivian Cain and Yvonne Steele.

Pallbearers will be Greg Steele, Johnny Naron, Carol Naron, Jr., Clint Ashlock, Brandon Ashlock, Brad Naron, Ricky Cain, Darrell Holst, and Grover Holst.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Wade Lambert and Cody Schwartz.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904 or American Cancer Society, 212 Gene Samford Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Huntington. They encourage a “come and go” visitation, so that COVID guidelines on social distancing can be observed. Please wear a mask.
