Linda Diann Mott

Funeral services for Linda Diann Mott, 55, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Boone and Brother Myrton Thompson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery.  Linda was born September 6, 1961 in Lufkin, Texas to Verna Lee (Bell) and Bobby Glenn Mott, and went to her Heavenly home Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Lufkin.  Linda had resided in Lufkin most of her life and worked as an accountant for Workforce Solutions. She enjoyed singing and was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church.  Linda was happiest when surrounded by her friends and family, whether singing gospel music on a weekend night or sitting quietly with her grandchildren playing games or reading a book to them. She lived her life as a celebration of the blessings God had given. Linda’s kind heart and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.  Survivors include her daughter, Krystal Daniel and husband Skyler of Lufkin; grandsons, Greysen Daniel and John Daniel; parents, Bobby and Verna Mott of Lufkin; brother, David Mott and Jill Adams of Lufkin; special aunt, Judy Black of Lufkin; numerous cousins and other family members and friends; and special grandchildren, Destiney and Jaylen.  She has joined her grandparents in their Heavenly home, Olga and Lewis B. Bell, Sr. and Fairy and Lester J. Mott.  Pallbearers will be Joe Kelley, Cody Suggs, Justin Wade, Fred Lewis, Morris Daniel, Sr., and Wayne Bynum.  Honorary pallbearers will be Delbert Renfro, Sean Black, Robert Grimes, Calvin Kersh, and Doyle Oliver.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W.
