Linda P. Goodwin

Graveside services for Linda P. Goodwin, 75, of Wells will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery with Brother Wes Matchett officiating.

Mrs. Goodwin was born October 8, 1947 in Wells, Texas to the late Pauline (Foster) and Troy Crawford, and died Friday, May 12, 2023 at her residence. She had worked as Activities Director for nursing homes in Wells, Rusk and Alto. She enjoyed teaching clogging and loved and adored her grandchildren who called her “Nanny”. Mrs. Goodwin was a Christian.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wayne Goodwin of Wells; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Stephanie Goodwin, Mitchell and Amanda Goodwin, all of Wells; grandchildren and spouses, Heather Loving, Dusty and Diana Goodwin, Ashley Meaux, Colby Landers, River Goodwin, Stormie and J.R. Allen, Bryar Goodwin and fiancée Kelsy Felder, and Ricky Goodwin; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Troylene Blackmon of Livingston; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky Goodwin; two sisters; and one brother.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Goodwin, Colby Landers, Bryar Goodwin, Ricky Goodwin, and River Goodwin.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
