Graveside services for Linda Sue Davis, 76, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches with Brother Mark Green officiating.
Ms. Davis was born January 2, 1945 in Jasper, Texas to the late Betty Sue (Choate) and Albert W. Davis, and died Saturday, November 6, 2021 in a local nursing home.
Linda enjoyed sewing, crafting, jigsaw puzzles, and loving on babies. Her family fondly recalls her knack for shelling peas – always asking for them to bring her some more. Linda Sue never met a stranger. She always remembered you no matter how long it had been. She truly loved everyone she knew and was equally loved in return. If you were fortunate enough to have known Linda Sue, then you were surely blessed in this lifetime. She was one in a million, touched the lives of so many, and will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Johnnie McWilliams of Carrollton, Kay and Rabbit Griffin of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Neuman and Cassy Ellis of Nacogdoches; nephews, John McWilliams, Trey Ellis; niece, Sarah Ellis; as well as a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Neuman Ellis, Sr.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
