Lily Delgado Wood

Funeral services for Lily Delgado Wood, 92, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Trey Ainsworth officiating. Interment will follow in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood was born December 5, 1932 in Raymondville, Texas to the late Francisca (Mendez) and Israel Delgado, and died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at her residence. She had resided in Lufkin since 1981 and had worked as a CNA. Mrs. Wood was a Christian.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Robert and Marina Wood, Hazel and Eduardo Perez, Charlene Jimenez and Mike Struck, Darlene Wood, Virginia and Joe Williamson, Christina Wood, Shirley Inocencio, Lori Galvan, Mike Wallace, BJ Baker, Brenon Baker, and Esther Aranza; grandchildren, Gabriel Jimenez, Adriana Perez, Dalila Perez, Robert Wood, Crystal Wood, Patty Wood, Linsi Mitchell, Wesley Mitchell, Kelly Wood, Nathanial Wood, Jonathan Struck, Christopher Struck, Justin Struck, Liza Perez, and Ricky Roman; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Wood, son, Donald Wood, daughters, Sherry Wood and Tammy Baker; granddaughter, Dehlia Rodriguez; and sister, Elva Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Joe Williamson, Frank Castro, Gabriel Jimenez, Wesley Mitchell, Nathaniel Wood, and Eduardo Perez.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
