Graveside services for Letha Singleton Williams, 92, of Salem, Indiana will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Brother Jimmy Dunn officiating.
Letha was born November 9, 1928 in Kickapoo, Polk County, Texas to the late Drury Ny and Sally Edith (Smith) Singleton, and died Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Salem, Indiana.
Letha had resided in Salem for 18 years. She previously lived in Channelview, Texas and grew up in East Texas.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Roe and husband Martty; son-in-law, Earl Randolph; grandson, Brian Martin; brother, Jimmy Singleton; sisters, Ellen Hodges and Sharon Lusk; plus numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved daughter, Rose Randolph; brothers, Drury Singleton, Ted Singleton, Leonard Singleton, and Al Singleton; and sisters, Violet (Singleton) Forsythe and Clara Singleton. She was also preceded in death by her half-brother, Jessy Singleton and half-sisters, Bonnie Dee (Singleton) Hopson, Bird Dee (Singleton) Hill, E.V. (Singleton) Kershaw, Nellie (Singleton) Cornelius, Louise (Singleton) Wiggins, Esther (Singleton) Moffett, and Loris Singleton.
