Funeral services with military honors for Leo R. Cramer, Jr., 76, of Huntington, Texas will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Sarver officiating. Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Cramer was born May 20, 1942 in Salamanca, New York to the late Elsie (Albaugh) and Leo R. Cramer, Sr., and died Saturday, November 10, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. While saddened by the loss, his family and friends know that he has left this Earth to be in Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Leo enjoyed 55 years of marriage to his bride and the love of his life, Sarah Cramer. They are members of Brother’s Keeper Church in Lufkin. He served his country for twenty-two years, and retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army. During that time, he was deployed for one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed traveling and baking. He was a prolific reader and often would share what he read with his family. He was an avid fisherman and could always be found in his garden tending to his vegetables and fruit trees. Leo had resided in Huntington, Texas for 36 years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sarah Cramer; daughter, Sarah Adams and husband Jamie; sons, Bill Cramer and wife Sherry, and Bob Cramer and wife Monica; grandchildren, Lindsey Lee and husband Colin, Ryan Adams, Joshua Adams, Jacob Adams and wife Rachael, Shelby Spellings and husband Zach, Colton Cramer and wife Megan, Chelcie Cramer, Cody Cramer and Kristen Cramer; great-grandchildren, Brody Adams, Brinkley Adams, Kennedy Crowder, Bailey Adams, Landon Spellings, Piper Crowder, Kami Walton and baby Cramer due in December; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Lee and David; and sisters, Betty and Mary.
Honorary pallbearers will be his sons, Bill and Bob Cramer, his son-in-law, Jamie Adams, and his grandsons, Joshua Adams, Jacob Adams, Colton Cramer, and Cody Cramer.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
