Lavalle Biehle Moore

Funeral services for LaValle Biehle Moore, 78, of Lufkin, will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church Lufkin with Pastor Kenneth Bunge and Pastor Frank Starr officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Moore was born November 5, 1940 in Lexington, Texas to the late Anita (Drosche) and S.G. “Jim” Biehle and died Thursday, January 10, 2019 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Moore was a retired teacher for Lufkin I.S.D. following 28 years of service. She had lived in Lufkin most of her life.  Mrs. Moore loved her grandchildren, her teaching career, and baking and cooking. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Elissa Moore of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, LaNita and Justin Burnhauser of Lufkin; and five grandchildren, Riehle, Zachry and Jacob Moore, Owen and Lillie Burnhauser.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willie (Bill) Moore.

Pallbearers will be Justin Burnhauser, Owen Burnhauser, Zachry Moore, John Beck, Nick Beck, and Geno Stephens.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
