Larry Gene Sapp

Funeral services for Larry Gene Sapp, 67, of Huntington will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Mark Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Huntington Cemetery.

Mr. Sapp was born March 26, 1956 in Midland, Texas to the late LaNell (Horn) and Larry Don Sapp, and died Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in a local hospital. He enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, cooking Bar-B-Que for different events, and loved to dance.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Lynn Miller and Johnny of Midland, brother and sister-in-law, Butch Sapp and Mary Jane of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Lewis Sapp and Libby of Huntington; sister, Lisa Burnette of Midland; brother and sister-in-law, Troy Sapp and Teresa of Midland; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Erwin Lee and Berta Nell Horn and Lewis and Dora Sapp; and brother-in-law, Robert Burnette.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Morris, Jacob Sapp, Zachary Sapp, Gary Litton, Blaze Hernandez, and Jace Scott.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
