Larry Wayne Renfro

Funeral services for Larry Wayne Renfro, 66, of Pollok will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Poage officiating. Interment will follow in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mr. Renfro was born October 10, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Billie Tom (Franklin) and Melton Lee “Sonny” Renfro, and died Friday, March 13, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Renfro was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. He worked at Renfro Construction for 40 years. He was also a Dr. of Chiropractic Medicine. Mr. Renfro attended Freedom Church of Lufkin.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larimy and Jessica Renfro of Pollok; grandchildren, Brayden Renfro, Kaitlyn Tobias, Lindsey Tobias, and James David Tobias, all of Pollok; sister, Theresa Dew of Lufkin; aunt, Sally McDaniel, of Lufkin; brother, Robert Renfro of Lufkin; niece, Shannon Hardesty and husband Manuel of Lufkin; nephew, Cody Dew of Lufkin; and a number of other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Steve Dew.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Pool, Brayden Renfro, Elton James, Larimy Renfro, Roy Wade, and Brian Durbin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hadley, John Wynn, and Steve Hampton.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon prior to the services.
