Larry Keith Davis

Funeral services for Larry Keith Davis, 69, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Maynard Phillips and Dr. Carlton Lewis officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mr. Davis was born April 12, 1956 in El Paso, Texas to Geneva (Burrous) and Larry Don Davis, and died Friday, December 26, 2025 in a long term care facility.

Larry lived most of his life in Lufkin and worked in construction. He served his country in the United States Army and was proud to be a veteran. He was passionate about riding with the Patriot Guard Riders. Larry had a good heart, was a very giving person and known for standing up for people. He was determined and gave 100% to everything he did. He loved Cisco, his service dog, who was his loyal companion. Larry will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Geneva Davis; sister, Nina Lewis and husband Carlton; brother, James Davis; nieces, April Kircher and husband Jessie, Jami Davis and husband Doug Williams, Stephanie Bryce and husband Zachary, Michell Harvill and husband Cody; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Don Davis; and niece, Carla Poage.

Pallbearers will be Cody Harvill, Kenny Murdock, Zachary Bryce, and James Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Patriot Guard Riders.

Memorial contributions may be made to Affinity Hospice, 2708 S. Medford Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning prior to the service.
