Larissa Rahkoy

Funeral services for Larissa Rahkoy, 82, of McDade will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend Lubomir Kupec officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery.

Mrs. Rahkoy was born September 2, 1939 in Kiev, Ukraine to the late Ludmilla (Owsianicov) and Victor Miller, and died Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Round Rock.

Mrs. Rahkoy was a resident of McDade, Texas and was a former resident of Round Rock, Texas, Austin, Texas, and New Jersey. She was a nurse who worked with special needs children, homemaker, wife, mother, sister, and aunt.

Survivors include her husband, Oleg Rahkoy of McDade; sons and daughter-in-law, Yuri Rahkoy of McDade, Vlad and Heather Rahkoy of Coupland; stepson, Alexander Schenk of Switzerland; brother, Nick Alcov of California; grandson, Sydney; niece, Elizabeth Britton; nephew, Eddie Elizaitis; sister-in-law, Lisa Astin; and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Irene Elizaitis.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the funeral home.
