Kimberly Sue Richter

Memorial services for Kimberly Sue Richter, 59, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, Illinois. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richter was born August 5, 1959 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Shirley (Williams) and Gerald Dwayne Lawrence, and died Friday, October 26, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Richter had resided in Lufkin for five years. She was a Medical Assistant for Soyland ACCIS Independent Living in Decatur, Illinois. She and her husband, Terry, were dedicated to helping their community and were very involved with the Meals on Wheels program in Decatur. She enjoyed the beautiful flowers and plants she and Terry lovingly grew together. Mrs. Richter was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Richter of Lufkin; brothers, Jr. Lawrence and wife Elaine of Lufkin, Doug Lawrence of Florida, and Tony Lawrence and wife Bonnie; sister, Becky Collins and husband Steve of Illinois; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Richter and wife Dianne of Arkansas and Rick Weber of Florida; sister-in-law, Arlene Ackin and husband Jarret of Illinois; father-in-law, Ronnie Richter of Arkansas; mother-in-law, Carol Ann Finley of Kansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Darlene Weber; and stepmother-in-law, Judy Richter.
