Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Wilson, Sr., 73, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born September 11, 1944 in Mount Vernon, Texas to the late Margaret Marie (Carr) and John Verlon Wilson, and died Sunday, January 7, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mr. Wilson owned and operated Wilson House Leveling until he retired after 30 years. He was an avid trail rider and was a strong supporter of the Old Spanish Trail Ride organization. He enjoyed going to feed stores and anything having to do with horses. He was a founding member of Trinity Baptist Church and a member of the Jolly Seniors Sunday School Class. He loved to drink coffee at the coffee shop, but more than anything, he loved his granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Wilson of Lufkin; son, Ronnie Wayne Wilson and granddaughter, Emma of Lufkin; son, Donnie DeWayne Wilson of Lufkin; daughter, Trisha Len Wilson and granddaughter, Josey Len Malner of Lufkin; son, Kenneth Wayne Wilson, Jr. and wife Tammy of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Honorary pallbearers will be his brother, Jackie Wilson; brother, Shorty Wilson; nephew, Michael Gonzalez; Steven Nunn, Robert Grimes and Delbert Reynolds.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
