Kenneth Reeder

Memorial services for Kenneth Reeder, 77, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kent Childers officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Reeder was born September 23, 1948 in Houston, Arkansas to the late Doris Ozella (Moss) and James Thomas Reeder, and died Wednesday, September 16, 2026 in a local hospital.

He retired from Loggins Plumbing following 28 years of employment and had previously owned and operated his own plumbing company for 17 years in Houston. He enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Reeder always put his heart and soul into everything he did. All who met him loved him. He was the most kind, sweet and giving man, at times donating his work to those who couldn’t afford it. His faithful companion, his Boston Terrier Bella, never left his side.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mary (Price) Reeder of Lufkin; children, Scott Reeder and wife Tammie of Diboll, Trecia Reeder of Houston, Michael Willmon of Alaska, and Bryan Willmon and wife Sharon of Houston; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Jim Reeder and wife Peggy of Arkansas, Janie Buie of Houston, Linda Fletcher, and Danny Reeder, both of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Doris Reeder of Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Len Reeder and John Reeder.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon prior to the services.
