Graveside services for Kenneth Earl Couch, Jr., 87, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. in the Kitchens Cemetery with Brother Myrton Thompson officiating.
Mr. Couch was born April 28, 1932 in Alton, Missouri to the late Mercedes (Duncan) and Kenneth Earl Couch, Sr., and died Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in a local hospice facility.
Mr. Couch had resided in Lufkin for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Ford Motor Company in Chicago, Illinois for 20 years. He had also lived in Indiana and Livingston, Texas. Mr. Couch was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Kathryn (Rosaschi) Couch of Lufkin; daughters and son-in-law, Ruth Morrison of Kentucky, Lori Morrison and Ian Gray of Moscow, and Karen Baranowski of Kentucky; son, Howard Morrison of Lufkin; grandchildren, Lesley, Karie, Mike, Jackie, Robert, Andy, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lenny, Hazel, Lola, and Rylie; sister, Kay Layman of Florida; and a number of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Howard Morrison, Lori Morrison, Ruth Morrison, Jackie Martinez, and Oscar Martinez.
