Kelvin Ray Plemons

Funeral services for Kelvin Ray Plemons, 50, of Huntington will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Taylor McBride officiating. Interment will follow in the Ben F. Walker Cemetery.

Mr. Plemons was born February 9, 1969 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Joaquin. He was a lifetime resident of Huntington and was employed with the Lufkin State Supported Living Center for 10 years. Mr. Plemons loved to hunt and fish. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents, Sherrell and Robert Walker of Huntington; brother, Danny Plemons of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Shelly and Albert McBride of Rusk County; nephews, Bryant Andrew Plemons, Taylor Brooks McBride, Jeremy McBride, and Brandon Warner; niece, K.D. Warner; uncles and aunts, David and Peggy Whiddon of Hudson, Robert and Lou Whiddon of Fuller Springs, Carl Ray and Chloe Walker of Lufkin, Audria Pride, and Betty Marshall, both of Huntington; a very special lady to Kelvin, Lesa Parmer of Joaquin; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Doris Marie (Moore) Whiddon, Benjamin Carl and Elsie Walker; and uncle and aunts, Joe Dale and Bernice Walker and Iva Dell Walker.

Pallbearers will be Danny Plemons, Gayland Westmoreland, Waylon Jones, Jeremy McBride, Marvin Sullivan, and Cloyce Adair, Jr..

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
