Keith Alan Sutton

Memorial services for Keith Alan Sutton, 90, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Brian Wiggins officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Sutton was born December 6, 1927 in Robinson, Illinois to the late Mary E. (Broadstone) and John D. Sutton, and died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in a local facility.

Mr. Sutton was a Mechanical Engineer, working for several companies where he helped construct refineries. He served his country in the Air Force Reserves for 40 years. He played the clarinet in the Lufkin Community Band and sang in his church choir. He was a devoted, faithful and generous member of First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Sutton was a very kindhearted and loving person.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Martha Sutton of Lufkin; daughter, Cynthia Sutton of Iowa; daughter-in-law, Juanda Morgan of Lufkin; numerous grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Dee Sutton; son, Mark Sutton; and his first wife, Jane Sutton.
