Graveside services for Keith DeWayne Burks, 63, of Corrigan will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Union Springs Cemetery with Brother Lesly Wilkinson officiating.

DeWayne was born July 23, 1962 in Corrigan, Texas to the late Rhonda Joan (Wilkins) and Ocie Keith Burks, and passed away November 26, 2025 in Corrigan.

DeWayne was a lifelong resident of Corrigan. He was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and joy in nature, especially while hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Cody Burks and Christina of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Mason Kyle Burks and Cayla Danelle Burks; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra Rene Zaher and Naser of Abu-Dhabi, UAE; sister, Karen Griffin of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Sean Burks and Leslie of Corrigan; sister and brother-in-law, Evie Hubbard and Andy of Brazoria; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Rhonda Burks; brother, Kevin Burks; brother-in-law, Kevin Griffin; maternal grandparents, LJ and Bea Wilkins; and paternal grandparents, Ocie D. and Avis Burks.

Pallbearers will be Cody Burks, Mason Burks, Ali Zaher, Peter Burks, Paden Reed, SK Burks, Mack Zaher, John Hooks, Calvin Burks, Darren Burks, Sam Zaher and Drew Hubbard.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Sean Burks.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amy Wych for her assistance with Cody and Christina during this difficult time.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Carroway Funeral Home Corrigan.
