Kattie Ann Lott Higgins

Funeral services for Kattie Ann Lott Higgins, 88, of Wells will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Wells with Brother Wesley Matchett officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Higgins was born September 25, 1934 in Wells, Texas to the late Willie Maurice “Jo” (Hannah) and Willie Samuel “Jack” Lott, and died Saturday, September 16, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Higgins had resided in Wells for close to 30 years. She loved reading and solving crossword puzzles. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Wells for 29 years and taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Karen Higgins, Brian Higgins, and Richard Higgins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 64 years, J.A. Higgins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Wells Building Fund, 629 Rusk Avenue, Wells, Texas 75976.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
