Karina K. Sharrer

Funeral services for Karina K. Sharrer, 45, of Lufkin will be held Monday, February 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Eastview Pentecostal Church with Pastor David Hunt and Pastor Rick Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery.

Karina was born September 19, 1972 in Harvey, North Dakota to Sheryl (Button) and Arlen Martwick, and died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at her residence.

Karina lived in Lufkin for 10 years and was a loving wife and mother of two. She was a member of Eastview Pentecostal Church and deeply involved in children ministries.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Edward Sharrer of Lufkin; stepson, Eddie Sharrer and wife Brittany of Lufkin; son, Kye Sharrer of Lufkin; daughter, Kady Sharrer of Lufkin; parents, Arlen and Sheryl Martwick of Bismarck, North Dakota; sister, Melissa Courtade and husband Paul of Conklin, Michigan; brother, Joel Martwick of Bismarck, North Dakota; mother-in-law, Judith Sharrer of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chester Bowman, Kevin Porter, Bobby Cheshire, Bill Frizzle, Jay Boyd, and Conlen Jones.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Carroway Funeral Home.
