Julie S. Modisette-Williams

Julie S. Modisette-Williams, 50, of Pollok went to her forever home Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in a Nacogdoches hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. As per her wishes there will be no funeral service. She wanted to make sure everyone remembers her being silly/ funny and laughing. She didn’t want people to sit through a funeral service and be sad and dwell on her passing.

Julie was born September 15, 1973 in Lufkin, Texas to Sue (Nicholson) and Wilton Modisette, Jr.

We are pretty sure she and God had a plan all along. Because her death was on her husband’s, David Williams, birthday. David passed away three years ago, and she still missed him terribly. We feel that she had this planned so she could go say to David, "here I am mister, the best birthday gift you've ever gotten". If you knew her you knew that was her personality! She always wanted the last laugh.

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, well wishes and concern over the last 6 months, and special thanks to Dr. Bramham Reddy and the staff at East Texas Hematology and Oncology.

Survivors include her son, Josh Varn of Pollok; mother, Sue Modisette of Pollok; sister and brother-in-law, Jaime and John Allen of Pollok; and mother-in-law, Jennifer Pearson of Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Williams; father, Wilson Modisette, Jr.; father-in-law, Lynn Pearson; and special friends, Brenda and Billy Ray Creel.
