Judy Ann (Hebert) Riley

Funeral services for Judy Ann (Hebert) Riley, 75, of Zavalla will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Blake Powers and Pastor Ricky Gobert officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Mrs. Riley was born October 15, 1943 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Daisy Viola (Canter) and Adam Wallace Hebert. She died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in a Houston hospital.

Mrs. Riley had been employed as a teller for Genco Credit Union in Lufkin, as well as working for the IBEW Credit Union in Beaumont for more than 15 years. A former resident of Port Neches, she had lived in Zavalla for the past 23 years. Mrs. Riley had the heart of an angel and servant. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Riley of Zavalla; her children and their spouses, Darrell and Renee Gobert of Zavalla, Ricky and Susan Gobert of Whitney, Richard Riley, Jr. and Tracy Randall of Nederland, Lisa and Cal Smith of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Celeste and Tye Robertson of Cypress, California, and Coda and Kimberly Riley of Lonoke, Arkansas; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Hebert and wife Sandra of Grand Lake, Louisiana and Don Ray Hebert of Lake Charles, Louisiana; sisters, Dorothy Goodwin of Zavalla, Betty Wilson and husband Joe of Lufkin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Riley; sister, Helen Hebert; and brother, Ronnie Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Dawson Riley, Anthony Kirkland, Ryan Gobert, Jordan Gobert, Jacob McWhorter and Nick Nesterenko.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brady Riley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 412 S. Third Street, Lufkin, Texas 75901.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
