Juanita E. Harris

Juanita E. Harris, 59, of Lufkin died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Juanita was born April 28, 1962 in Kountze, Texas to Opal Lee (Miller) and William Bryant Harris. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and worked as a dispatcher for many years for both Texas Department of Public Safety and Angelina Co. Sheriff’s Department. She loved Cason and Lindzey and adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Cason and Lindzey Harris of Lufkin; grandchildren, Michael and Bayley Harris of Lufkin; mother, Opal L. Harris of Lufkin; sister, JoVina Harris of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Vickie Harris of Sun City, Charlie and Peggy Harris of Diboll, Chester and Terri Harris of Kerrville; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Janis Perritte.
