Joyce Mae Webb

April 23, 1939 — February 21, 2025

Funeral services for Joyce Mae Webb, 85, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Highway Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Lamar Denby officiating. Interment will follow in the Treadwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Webb was born April 23, 1939 in Huntington, Texas to the late Barbara Francis (Trinkle) and Lewis Leslie Denman, and died Friday, February 21, 2025 in Huntington.

Anyone who knew Joyce Webb loved her. She lived her life, first and foremost, as a dedicated Christian, committed to serving her Lord and Savior and her church family. She was a member of Highway Missionary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, acted as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary, and sang in the choir.

Joyce was the last sibling of a family of ten brothers and sister, mother to three children, Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and devoted wife to Richard C. Webb for 43 years. Her ultimate joy was being surrounded by family, whether it was at a family reunion, holiday gathering, or just sitting with everyone on her porch swing watching her beloved cats at play. Morning sunrise was her favorite time to reflect on His perfect creations.

Survivors include her children, Teresa Moore of Fort Worth, Barry Hancock of Lufkin, and Sam Webb and wife Melissa Webb of Huntington; grandchildren, Kelsey Moore of Dallas, Dustin Moore and wife Margaret Moore of Wichita Falls, Lauren Hancock of Austin, Kirstyn Webb of Huntington, Karaleena Franks of Crockett, and Casey Minter; great-grandchildren, Jackson Moore and Maeve Moore of Wichita Falls; nephew, Randy Birch and wife Eileen; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard C. Webb; and all of her siblings.

Pallbearers will be Frank DuBose, Bobby Evans, Mike Ebarb, Keith Swearingen, Josh Denman and Dustin Moore.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Highway Missionary Baptist Church.
