Jorge A. Castellanos, Sr.

Graveside services for Jorge A. Castellanos, Sr., 40, of Lufkin will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mr. Castellanos was born January 9, 1981 in Raymondville, Texas, and died Sunday, October 31, 2021 in a local hospital.

Mr. Castellanos had resided in Lufkin for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing and football. Mr. Castellanos loved his grandchildren and loved spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Hernandez Castellanos of Lufkin; sons, Adrian Isaak Castellanos, Jorge Castellanos, Jr., both of Lufkin, and Sebastian Castellanos of Austin; daughters, Sandra Castellanos and Samantha Castellanos, both of Lufkin; stepdaughters, Star Hernandez and Hailey Hernandez, both of Lufkin; stepson, Diego Hernandez, Jr. of Lufkin; grandchildren, Diego Hernandez III, Drako Moore, Kyro Moore, and Eliyanah Bahena; stepfather, Rogaciano Sarmiento of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Juliana and Eddie Lomas of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Noe and Ashley Castellanos of Brenham; and nieces, Bianca Ortiz and husband Aaron, Samantha Padilla, all of Lufkin, and Annie Castellanos of Brenham.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Sarmiento.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Castellanos, Jorge Castellanos, Jr., Sebastian Castellanos, Eddie Lomas, Noe Castellanos, Aaron Ortiz, Tony Segura, Martin Aguilar, Jr., and Jeremy Guzman.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
