Jonnie Sue Hill

Memorial services for Jonnie Sue Hill, 77, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lamar Denby officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hill was born July 11, 1947 in Huntsville, Texas to the late Hellen (Mudd) and Phillip John Novak, and died Friday, April 18, 2025 at her residence.    Mrs. Hill attended Highway Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Sophie Hill of Lufkin; granddaughters, Rachel Hill and Reagan “Boo” Hill, both of Houston; sister, Billie Sims of Montgomery; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Richard Hill.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon prior to the service.
