Jonell Jennings Rogers

Graveside services for JoNell Jennings Rogers, 81, of Tomball, formerly of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Largent Cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers was born September 24, 1941 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Donie (Webb) and Clarence Jennings. She passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Houston, Texas.

JoNell spent most of her life as an elementary school teacher where she made many life-long friends. Once retired she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Hartman and husband Jeff; grandson, Tyler Hartman and wife Katlyn; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Reddicks and husband Jeremy; granddaughter, Sidney Hartman; great-grandsons, Kaiden Reddicks and Mason Hartman; brother, James Jennings and wife JoAnn; nephew, Keith Jennings and wife Robin; great-nephew, Garrett Jennings; along with many other friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy J. Rogers; and nephew, Stephen Jennings.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
