Funeral services for Jon Sprinkle, 72, of Lufkin will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sprinkle residence, 299 Jewel Road, Lufkin, Texas 75904, with Pastor Kevin Poage officiating. Interment will follow in the Sprinkle Family Cemetery.

Mr. Sprinkle was born December 31, 1953 in Glendale, California to Sarah (Kessler) and James David Sprinkle, and died Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his home. Jon was a longtime resident of Lufkin and a dedicated entrepreneur who built a life of purpose and hard work. He was a man of deep, genuine faith - Christ truly flowed through him and into everyone he touched, warming hearts and lifting spirits with kindness. As a faithful member of Clawson Assembly of God, he lived out his devotion through worship, fellowship, and a LOUD, steady walk with the Lord. He loved his country with pride, cherished his family and friends like nothing else, and poured his whole life into his beloved wife Paula and the beautiful family they built together on the hill. That hill wasn't just a place - it was his home, his community, his calling. He was always there for folks: ready with a helping hand, a listening ear, or just his steady presence that made you feel seen and valued. Through simple, everyday acts of love and an open heart that never turned anyone away, he let Christ's light shine out and touch so many lives. He lived well, loved deeply, and finished strong. Well done, good and faithful servant - your legacy of faith and family lives on in all of us who knew you.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Paula (Estes) Sprinkle of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Christel Sprinkle, Patrick and Teri Sprinkle, and Scotty and Erin Sprinkle, all of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouses, Jakob and Jena Sprinkle, Jarod Sprinkle and fiancée Peyton Ordaz, Jarynn “Baby” Sprinkle and fiancé Braiden Bell, Jordan and Kasadie Sprinkle, Brittney Sprinkle and fiancé Blake Arriola, Ethan and Katelyn Sprinkle, Aaron and Justice Sprinkle, Ayden Sprinkle, Logan Sprinkle, and Scottlynn Sprinkle; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, James Sprinkle, Dan Sprinkle, Ben Sprinkle, Becky Chambers and husband Rich, Joel Sprinkle, Sam Sprinkle, Tom Sprinkle, Heather Sprinkle, and Stephanie Sprinkle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Erin Sprinkle; and brother, Paul Sprinkle.

Pallbearers will be Jakob Sprinkle, Jarod Sprinkle, Jarynn “Baby” Sprinkle, Jordan Sprinkle, Ethan Sprinkle, Aaron Sprinkle, and Brittney Sprinkle.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the services.
