Memorial services for Johnny “Mac” McShan, 54, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Buck Creek Hall, 1617 Old Ewing Road, Lufkin, with Brother Mark Youngblood officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Johnny was born January 12, 1970 in Nacogdoches, Texas, and died Thursday, August 15, 2024 in a San Antonio hospital. He resided in Huntington most of his life and was a foreman for Kimbro Solutions. Johnny loved old cars and antiquing and loved, loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Carla (Havard) McShan of Huntington; mother, Donna Rae (Beard) McShan of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Whitney and Brandon Craigen of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Dylan and Bailey McShan of Lufkin; son and fiancée, John McShan and Katie Cullum of Frisco; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Josh Byars, Hunter and Morgan Waggonner, and Jake and Cealy Kay Waggonner, all of Huntington; grandchildren, Amzie Byars, Reese McShan, Sadie Craigen, Rylan Waggonner, and Mac Waggonner; brother and sister-in-law, David and Darci McShan of Lumberton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Don McShan; sister, Lisa Basham; and nephew, Steven McShan
