John Robert Zeigler, Jr.

John Robert Zeigler, Jr., 84, of Huntington died Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Zeigler was born November 22, 1935 in San Augustine, Texas to the late Dovie Alma (Thornton) and John Robert Zeigler, Sr. He had resided in Huntington for almost 50 years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service following 27 years of employment.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jerry (Montgomery) Zeigler of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Kim Roberts of Monroe, Louisiana; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and special friends, Brent Parker and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sheila Sprague.
