John Edward West

Memorial services for John Edward West, 66, of Huntington will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Clay Precup officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. West was born May 18, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to Madeleine Elizabeth (Owen) and the late Aubrey St. John West, and died Monday, November 5, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. West resided in Huntington for 20 years after residing in Clear Lake for 20 years. He was a Respiratory Therapist with American HomePatient for more than 20 years. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. West attended Lufkin First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Pam West of Huntington; son, Jared West and wife Colleen of Austin; daughters, Bonnie Becker and husband David of Nashville, Tennessee and Christine Bazan of Huntington; grandchildren, Aubrey Bazan, Luke Becker, and Jack West; mother, Madeleine West of Huntington; sister, Barbara West of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Karl West of Lufkin and Mark West and wife Denise of Longview; special friends, Susan and Clay Precup of Huntington and Joan Jones of Arlington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father.
