John Dwayne Melton, Sr.

A visitation for John Dwayne Melton, Sr., 61, of Etoile will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Melton was born April 17, 1964 in Houston, Texas to John David Melton and Helen (Armstrong), and died Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Natasha (Torbert) Melton; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kelton Kelley; daughter, Kylie Nowman; granddaughter, Gracie Kelley; grandson, Travis Kelley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Terry Collins, Connie and Lee Cleghorn; mother and her husband, Helen and Charles Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, John Dwayne Melton, Jr.; father, John David Melton; and brothers, David Ray Melton and Wayne Scott Kelley; and stepfather, Sammy Madden..
