John Dwayne Melton, Jr.

Funeral services for John Dwayne Melton, Jr., 21, of Etoile will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Skipper Eberlan officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile.

John Dwayne was born March 10, 1997 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Friday, July 13, 2018 in a local hospice facility following a short battle with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer. He was a lifetime resident of Etoile and had been employed with Pinto Construction for five years. John Dwayne was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents, Natasha (Torbert) and John Dwayne Melton, Sr. of Etoile; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Kelton Kelley of Etoile; niece, Gracie Kelley of Etoile; his grandmother and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Decker, Chase Webb, Justin Kelley, Trent Bryan, Gage Torbert, and Dylan Torbert.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
