John Michael Howle

Graveside services for John Michael Howle, 58, of Lufkin will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

John was born April 24, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Judith Ann (Fleming) and John Gray Howle, and died Sunday, January 30, 2022  at his residence.

John was known by his peers and friends as “Jon-Jon”. He was a loving, kind, and energetic young man who enjoyed being around his peers and the staff at Oak Creek Center and St. Giles. John resided with St. Giles Living Center/Caregiver for over 10 years. John was an employee with Oak Creek Center, and later was involved in the Retirement Program there. John was involved in several other workshop settings. He loved being outside and looking in animal magazines.

Survivors include his St. Giles Living Center family.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Gray Howle; mother, Judith Ann (Fleming) Howle Lindeman; grandmother, Vivian Kennedy; sister, Lisa Down Howle; and half-sister, DeDe Howle.
