John Wayne Davis, 93, of Lufkin died Wednesday, August 5, 2026 in Lufkin. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born January 19, 1933 in Nogalus Prairie, Texas to the late Annie Lee (Turner) and Dailey Davis.
Survivors include his daughters, Holly Stone and husband Daniel, Penny Davis, and Amy Reynolds; son, Jerry Davis; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Pam (Burris) Davis.
