Funeral services for Joel Guadalupe Ramirez, 26, of Pollok will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the Lufkin State Supported Living Center Chapel with Chaplain Greg Freijo officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Joel was born December 12, 1992 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Pollok.

Survivors include his mother, Laura (Sanchez) Ramirez of Lufkin; father and stepmother, Francisco and Maria Ramirez of Lufkin; sisters and brother-in-law, Roxana and Robert Amason and Caroline Ramirez, all of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raul and Alma Ramirez of Morgan City, Louisiana, Josue and Jessica Ramirez of Phoenix, Arizona, and Joseph Ramirez of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Raul Ramirez, Josue Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, Andres Martinez, Mario Sanchez, and Robert Amason.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon prior to the services.
